Disappointment
How is it possible that three days after Halloween all the half-price candy is gone? A rack of candy corn and a few wrinkly Peeps ghosts are all that’s left? I’m sorely disappointed in the store’s restraint in stocking Halloween candy.
I just encountered my first douchebag buyer on eBay, and I really could’ve used a fun-size Whoppers.

People are pigs, that's how! I bet if you go to the store today, though, Christmas candy will be on sale!
Susan and I were rhapsodizing last week about how Whoppers are the best malted milk balls EVER. Not even those fancy gourmet ones can compare. They have really nailed the precise sweetness and thickness of the milk chocolate in proportion to the delicious malty center.
I know! Those fancy malt balls are usually too sweet, with a too-thick chocolate layer. Whoppers are perfect.
I wound up getting some fun-size Christmas Twix. Not on sale, though.
