That bastard! I loved those shoes.
Did I miss a Twix blog? (One bag in two weeks is marvelous pacing. It shows a true aptitude for savoring life's little pleasures. One bag in two hours would be piggish, and one bag in two months would be parsimonious).
I loved them, too! My go-to shoes since college. Maybe I can find some more on eBay.
The Twix were what I settled for when I couldn't find any half-price Halloween candy. The fun-size bars are two tiny bites, so it would be really easy to scarf down half a dozen in one sitting. I thought two weeks was pretty good, considering.
Confession: We had a big Halloween bowl at work. I contributed tons of candy to it, so I felt only a tiny bit guilty about withholding a bag of mini Heath bars in my personal drawer. I ate two a day until they were gone. I did sneak a handful to Susan because she adores Heath bars.
Oh, Heath bars are GOOD. I think two a day is very respectable.
